The challenge: A platform that couldn’t keep up

The Guestbook had a great product, but their platform was holding them back. It was clunky, hard to update, and didn’t reflect the premium, design-forward brand of their partner hotels. Their marketing team couldn’t create new content or launch campaigns without developer help, which was slow and expensive.

They needed a new platform that was both beautiful and functional—one that would empower their marketing team, engage their users, and scale with their growing business. They also needed to integrate their existing React-based booking engine into the new site, which added a layer of technical complexity.

The solution: The best of both worlds with Webflow + React

We built The Guestbook a hybrid platform that combined the ease of use of Webflow with the power of React. This gave them the best of both worlds: a beautiful, easy-to-manage marketing site and a robust, scalable booking engine.

First, we designed and built a new marketing site in Webflow. We created a library of reusable components that allowed their marketing team to create new pages and content without writing any code. We also integrated Lottie animations and micro-interactions to create a dynamic and engaging user experience.

Next, we seamlessly integrated their existing React-based booking engine into the new Webflow site. This was a technical challenge, but our expertise in both platforms allowed us to create a smooth and seamless experience for users. They could browse the beautiful marketing site, then transition to the powerful booking engine without any jarring interruptions.

Finally, we built a custom blog and resource center in Webflow to support their content marketing efforts. This allowed them to publish articles, guides, and tutorials to attract and engage their target audience.
